Managing Expatriate Employment Contracts with Blockchain

Expatriates, or migrant workers, are employees who work outside their home country and reside in a foreign for the purpose of work. They often subject to job fraud, employment contract violations, poor working conditions. These calamities mainly due language barriers, limited legal protection, feeling inferior host countries. Many reports have indicated that minimum living standards expatriates not as adequately enforced those domestic employees. issues may be elevated with presence an framework, which would enable better enforcement wider visibility both workers employers. Thus, we propose blockchain-powered framework represent expatriate contracts digital assets managed by smart contracts. It enables employers create agree decentralized, tamper-proof, transparent, traceable manner. This facilitates auditability, tracking, enhanced history verification We provide prototype implementation using Hyperledger Fabric platform analyze qualitatively from scalability, efficiency, security, privacy perspectives.
